How to make the bathroom look bigger?

When planning a small bathroom remodel, you may not have a lot of design options for your small bathroom makeover. Let’s look at ways you can maximize during a small bath remodel.

Choose your bathroom color wisely

1) Be careful not to add too many colors and accessories when designing a small bathroom. Bright colors and simple lines, without too much detail, will allow a small bathroom to keep its space.

Don’t overdo it on bathroom mirrors

2) Some people believe that mirroring the walls in the bathroom will make the space feel larger. But what you get by mirroring the walls is repeating all the bathroom details, contributing to the overall “mess” in the bathroom. Think about adding a frameless mirror paired with a simple bathroom color to help your small bathroom look larger.

A small vanity with a big impact

3) Even if you have a small bathroom, that does not mean you need to sacrifice bathroom storage. Finding a bathroom vanity with lots of built-in storage can help you maximize. Consider a floating vanity to help your small bathroom appear bigger by freeing up some floor space.

Bathroom Cabinets

4) The last thing to avoid when making a small bathroom appear larger is large cabinets and wall hangings at or above eye level. Things to avoid include cabinets above the sink, wide and/or tall linen cabinets, and bollards.

Bathroom Tile

The traditional approach uses small tiles for a small bathroom and large tiles for a large one. This is an outdated statement; the fewer joints on the walls and floor, the fewer details in the bathroom, making the bathroom more clean and spacious. Large tiles can be successfully used during the small bathroom remodel. The color of the tile is best white or light beige.
