Design
At LFM Remodeling, we believe that design is a form of art. The ability to select the right finishes based on the chosen layout is crucial to the final designed look and the atmosphere of the new bathroom. Selecting the right finishes can be frustrating for some who don’t have the experience doing so. There are so many options – what will be the size of the tile? What color? What kind of vanity do I use? What kind of countertop is best?! When trying to connect al of those together it’s important to follow a plan and try to be consistent with it. Many materials can look amazing in the show room but when used together with other finishing material, the combination may end up not looking so good. To prevent that we are offering a couple of options:
1. Our project manager will understand your vision and taste to help you select the finished materials, connect you with the right vendors and who room to make sure you get attractive prices on your purchases. For us as a remodeling company that remodels homes on a daily basis, we deal with selecting finished materials for different layouts all the time. It’s easier for us to imagine how your space would look with different options and vie you advice based on our rich experience.
2. Selecting a matching design from our wide portfolio. Over the years we’ve learned that choosing different materials from different combinations to create a whole new design might work but sometimes the result is not as desired and good as a planned approach. A good way to prevent this is to look at specific combinations of materials and use the exact same combination of materials (or very similar). The disadvantage of this option is that it’s less customized and you want to stay close to the referenced design as much as possible. The benefits of this, is if you look at the bathrooms from our portfolio that you like, we can get the look of your bathroom to match is, as long as those materials will work with the layout of your new bathroom. You will most likely be very pleased with the finished result.
3. Interior Designer – If the first two options mentioned above are a little too basic for you and you want to take it to the next level, we can always connect you with out interior designer. In this case you will have a one on one meeting with an experienced, professional, and skilled interior designer that will help you select the new layout, finish materials, and even the way those materials will be installed. For example if there’s a decision to be made about whether the tile should be installed horizontally or vertically, the interior designer will help with that. In this case, we can provide you with a 3D design to help you visualize the look of your new bathroom. If you decide to do this we’ll start by setting a budget and based on that our designer can help you select the best route to take.

How much should I pay for my Kitchen Remodel?
Kitchen remodeling costs are determined by a number of things such as size, number of changes, cost of finished materials, etc. It really depends on the homeowner’s budget and if the homeowner prefers to provide the finished materials or not. A typical kitchen remodel would start at about $20k for labor and about $10k for finished materials such as cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc.
For a more high quality kitchen that’s larger and more customized, the labor cost could be in the $30k to $50k range and even more and the finished material cost could be anywhere from $20k and co to hundreds of thousands with today’s super advanced features and technology.
If you want to go the route of a high-quality kitchen option and want our interior designer to get involved, you want to come with an all in budget of at least $70k.
